I am an animal activist and my goal with that monthly article was to give student readers information about the care, protection, commitment, rights, and respect, and all areas of the treatment and care of animals. It is amazing how many people in my state do not know how to care for a simple pet, such as a cat or a dog. Some adults do not have a clue as to the proper care, training, commitment it takes to raise an animal friend. My article was called "The Animals' Advocate." And was well accepted by the students and staff. A wise man said "write what you are passionate about." So I did!
